We begin this New Year with dampened enthusiasm and dented optimism. Our happiness is diluted and our peace is threatened by the financial illness that has infected our families, organizations and nations. Everyone is desperate to find a remedy that will cure their financial illness and help them recover their financial health. They expect the financial experts to provide them with remedies, forgetting the fact that it is these experts who created this financial mess.

“Men crave for bad news !!”
I opened my eyes to check whose voice had jolted me from half sleep. It was from the TV. A saint in saffron clothes had paused his speech for the words to sink into the audience.
I do crave for a lot of stuff like traveling, eating, reading and at times, the craving becomes very specific like for MD-CC (Masala Dosa & Cold Coffee) from the Indian Coffee House. However till date, “bad news” had never been on the list. And the old man in TV was talking with absolute confidence and calmness that, “Men crave for bad news.”

What good is a hair do , if nobody appreciates it ? What good is an expensive shirt , if it still makes you look out of shape ? What good is a car , if it wont take you and your love to that romantic beach ? What good is a costly pen , if it cannot express your emotions to your dearest ? What good is a mobile phone , if you dont have anybody to call and wish "good night" ? What good is a life , if there is nobody to love or to accept love from ? I was busy thinking about more philosophic and poetic what-if's when I got this forward from dad . Perhaps , it answers all my stupid quesions
